You've reached the point where something needs to change
Maybe you can feel it, but you can't quite name it.
• You're carrying a bigger or newer scope, and it's starting to feel heavier than it should.
• You're doing well "on paper," but something feels misaligned.
• You're navigating stakeholders, team dynamics, and expectations, and your old ways of operating aren't working anymore.
• You're stepping into a new level of leadership, and you can sense: the next chapter needs a different version of you.
This is where our work begins.
My philosophy
Most leadership challenges are not only strategic problems. They're human problems. And they often drain more energy than we admit.
What you say matters, but so does what you avoid.
What you decide matters, but so does what you're afraid to lose.
I believe clarity comes from being honest about where you are, without judgment and without urgency. When we slow down enough to listen, you start to notice the real constraints: the assumptions and beliefs you're holding, the needs you're not naming, the stories you're protecting, the trade-offs you're avoiding and the feelings you've been trying not to feel.
That's also why I pay attention to emotions. Not for drama. For data.
Fear, guilt, anger, shame, desire, hope: these signals shape your choices whether we acknowledge them or not. When we learn to work with them, you lead with more steadiness and more range.
Sometimes the work is here — in emotion and identity. Sometimes it's in the assumptions driving a decision, or a behaviour pattern that needs rewiring, or a tactical shift that unlocks something stuck. We go where the work actually is.
Not all change goes to the same depth. Sometimes you need relief — a tactical shift that reduces immediate pressure. Sometimes you need to address root causes — changing the beliefs or patterns creating the problem. And sometimes the work is identity: becoming someone different, not just doing something different. We meet you at the level the moment requires.
This work is not about becoming someone else. It's about becoming more you, with more agency. So leadership feels lighter, clearer, and more sustainable.
My ideal client
Many of my clients are founders and senior leaders based in Asia-Pacific.
Like me, many of them grew up in a collectivist culture, where respect comes from giving face, or sometimes, deference to hierarchy. Where self-awareness and ambitions are sky high, our belief in ourselves is solid, but asking for help can feel like admitting defeat. Where saying no feels like shrugging responsibility and expressing feelings can either be disrespectful or weak. And where we believe that willpower, technical skills and hard work alone is enough.
An ideal partnership is when: You're genuinely ready — not just aware something needs to shift, but ready to do something about it. You're hungry for change and willing to take charge of it. You want to be held accountable, and you welcome challenges and new ways of thinking. You may have strong convictions, but you're open to what else is out there. And you're ready to put insights into practice — iterating until it feels and works right.
But, if you're looking for quick fixes or someone to tell you what to do, this probably isn't the right fit.
My approach
I'm an empath by nature, analytical by training, and structured by practice.
I create conditions for honest thinking, listen without an agenda, and help you extract the intelligence in what you're feeling and thinking. And then we translate insight into action.
Every coaching relationship is different. Sometimes we follow a clear plan. Other times we let the process unfold naturally, guided by what your role and your life are asking of you.
Throughout the process, I'll bring tools, frameworks, readings, practices, and simple experiments, the kind you can actually use in the middle of a real week.
Core methods I rely on
1. Seeing the pattern
We identify the one or two patterns wearing different masks. Sometimes it's a competing commitment you haven't named — you want to delegate but are committed to being seen as the expert. When we surface what's actually in tension, the path forward becomes clearer.
2. Clarifying who you're becoming
A tension for leaders: what does the business need from me, and what do I want? We clarify the role you need to play now. Sometimes doing leads to becoming; sometimes becoming leads to doing. We work in both directions.
3. Building agency
Agency is the felt sense that you have choice, even when constrained. We look at where you're stuck, what you believe is true, and how you give your power away. We build toward ownership and cleaner decisions.
4. Turning toward difficulty
We build the capacity to make hard choices, be direct and respectful, steady and human. Not performative. Not aggressive. Just clear. You learn to communicate for clarity and inspire without burning out.
5. Drawing on wisdom
We learn from wisdom that has stood the test of time. Buddhist philosophy, Eastern frameworks, timeless principles — applied practically to your specific situation, not as abstractions.
6. Meaningful experiments
This work isn't only insight. We design small experiments: conversations you've postponed, new rhythms, boundaries you need to set. Sustainable change needs joy and aliveness, not just willpower.
7. Recruiting allies
Where helpful, we bring key stakeholders into the loop so your change is supported, not solo. We ask a few of them to help you see what you can't see yourself.
Sometimes the work isn't change at all. You might need help making a decision, solving a specific problem, or processing what you're carrying. Sometimes the frame is acceptance — being with what can't be changed — or simply being witnessed. I meet you where you are.
What working together looks like
Most clients start with a 6–9 month program, then continue on a monthly retainer if valuable.
A typical rhythm:
- Two sessions per month (60 minutes each)
- Reflection prompts or simple experiments between sessions
- Mid-point check-ins and calibration to assess progress and recalibrate focus
- Async support via WhatsApp/email (and short calls as needed)
Some sessions are tactical. Some go deeper. Most are both.
What clients say
Working with Amit has been a uniquely revealing journey. As a founder caught in relentless daily operations, it's easy to lose sight of areas for personal growth.
What makes Amit's approach stand out is how deeply he listens and thoughtfully questions, creating a judgment-free space for true reflection. His unique skill helped me crystallize thoughts that had been swirling in my head.
Rather than prescribing changes, Amit helped me "stress test" my own operating principles, guiding me to find my unique ways to address stakeholder feedback. Through small, subtle learnings and seamless self-introspection, I approached leadership areas like communication, delegation, and presence with renewed clarity and practical steps.
The results were tangible: Being more direct and expanding one-on-ones not only felt good but also cleared mental space. As I evolved my communication structure, both clarity and motivation increased in the team. I also started receiving more candid feedback regularly, which has sharpened how I lead.
The coaching enabled consistent positive shifts, with outcomes that were quite satisfying. I wholeheartedly recommend Amit to any founder or leader seeking genuine growth. He truly helps you discover your own path forward.
Amit is an exceptional executive coach who creates a deeply safe, reflective, and growth-oriented space for leaders to unlock their potential. His coaching style blends sharp insight with clarity, challenging limiting beliefs while making room for genuine discovery.
He masterfully uses analogies and frameworks to simplify complex behavioral patterns, and his thoughtful questioning helped me identify and name internal conflicts I didn't even realize were holding me back. Amit's approach is both philosophical and practical — whether it's encouraging new mindsets or sharing actionable strategies for high-stakes scenarios.
What sets Amit apart is his flexibility and commitment. He always showed up with presence, even extending sessions or making time for quick follow-ups during critical moments. Amit doesn't just coach; he partners with you in your evolution as a leader.
I highly recommend Amit for any senior leader committed to elevating their impact on the organization as well as on society.
When I started working with Amit, I came with big, broad leadership topics that felt overwhelming. I knew I wanted to develop my leadership identity, but I wasn't sure what that actually meant for me or how to get there.
What Amit did extremely well was to help me break down those big concepts into manageable pieces. Instead of tackling "leadership identity" as one massive block, we drilled down into the specific leadership skills, personality traits, and values that would define my unique approach to leading. This methodical breakdown made everything feel much more achievable.
One of my biggest breakthroughs was working on public speaking. While I was comfortable with colleagues I knew, speaking to unfamiliar audiences was uncomfortable. What I loved about working with Amit was that we didn't just talk about it — we put words into action. He encouraged me to actually go on stage and practice these new skills. I'm proud to say I did it. I overcame what was really an internal, personal fear.
The most powerful insight was learning to find the leader within me. So often in leadership development, we try to be like other successful leaders. But what's truly important is discovering your own authentic leadership style. Amit helped me find the leader within me rather than trying to be someone else.
Amit brings his authentic self to every session, and his style worked really well for me. He pushed me — it was challenging at times — but I probably needed that push. What made it work was that he did it gently, always coming from a place of genuinely wanting to help. I never felt judged or misunderstood.
Working with Amit has been truly transformative for my leadership journey. Before our coaching engagement, I struggled with delegation, often centralizing decisions out of insecurity and a need for control. This approach left me overwhelmed and frequently burnt out.
Amit provided a safe, non-judgmental space for reflection and accountability. He helped me recognize and address the roots of my anxieties, particularly around trust and letting go. The 90-second reset tool we practiced was a game-changer, helping me pause, refocus, and respond more thoughtfully in challenging situations. Most importantly, Amit encouraged me to prioritize my own well-being — a shift I had long neglected.
Thanks to Amit's guidance, I've made tangible progress both personally and within my team. I've clarified my priorities, delegated 50–60% of daily responsibilities to newly developed team leaders, and launched a successful search for senior leadership. This transformation allowed me to step back from day-to-day firefighting and concentrate on our long-term strategic goals.
Amit's coaching has been instrumental in this shift, and I highly recommend him to any leader looking to grow and build lasting impact.
I began my coaching journey with Amit when I was CTPO of Licious. At that time, I was navigating complex stakeholder expectations and managing evolving team dynamics, which made me realize the need to elevate how I connected with them and inspired performance. I recognized that I needed to cultivate deeper, more personal connections with my teams to elevate their performance.
Amit created a trusted space where I could reflect openly on professional and personal challenges. His unique ability to listen deeply, question thoughtfully, and challenge me when needed helped me to introspect and uncover hidden biases. This guidance has been instrumental in consciously shifting my reactions, helping me shift towards a more balanced, collaborative, and forward-looking leadership approach.
A big shift was implementing a clear, 3-step process to engage with new ideas, ensuring diverse opinions are heard efficiently. I shifted to actively fostering a forward-looking perspective and consciously embracing vulnerability and gratitude in team interactions, a practice I previously found challenging. A key stakeholder and executive even noted a "night and day difference" in my operational style.
Amit also guided me towards becoming a leader who inspires genuine followership. His practical tips and consistent encouragement equipped me with a "repertoire of things" to apply, propelling my self-assessed leadership effectiveness with a clear path to further growth. I am incredibly grateful for his patient listening and actionable insights. Amit is an exceptional coach who is empathetic and truly transforms leaders.
I reached out to Amit around the time I was feeling stuck. I knew I wanted to grow my business, but I didn't know how, and I couldn't quite find the motivation to figure it out.
Working with Amit has been transformative. He listens deeply, questions thoughtfully and challenges meaningfully. From our very first conversation, I could clearly sense that this was a space of no judgment - a space where I could be myself, but also where I was encouraged to go deeper and understand myself even better.
What is incredibly powerful is Amit's ability to spot patterns in behaviors, helping me see connections I hadn't even thought about before. Through his simple, but deep probing questions, he helped me frame complex problems in a way that suddenly felt easy to overcome.
I started off thinking the sessions with Amit would give me strategies and quick fixes to get things done, but what I got was something so much more meaningful. Through our discussions, I found ways to trust myself more, lower the volume on all the internal noise and find greater peace, joy and passion in what I am doing.
Immensely grateful to Amit for everything he does - all the energy, commitment and kindness he brings to the table. If you are looking for a coach who can really help transform your journey, I would definitely recommend Amit.
I started working with Amit in 2024. At that time, I was undergoing a change in role from a regional leader to a global leader, and I was grappling with overwhelm as I was defining my role both at a global and a regional level. It required cutting through the 'noise' and discovering what I needed.
Partnering with Amit allowed me the space to reflect on how I can make the changes necessary to succeed. He also brought in lessons from his experience, and occasionally provided guidance on what to do, not do, and watch out for. As time passed, I found Amit to not just be a coach, but a friend who I can trust to discuss not just professional but also personal matters.
Our partnership allowed me to make pivotal changes in my life. To start with, my self-talk changed to being confident of who I was. I realized that while I will always grow and improve, I wasn't lacking the abilities necessary for success in my role. One of the significant benefits from coaching was finding a grip on my overwhelm. I redefined my relationship with the level at which I was operating and got comfortable demanding support from the organization. I also became consistent with my exercise and mindfulness practices — which not only helped with managing overwhelm, but also improved my overall well-being.
Lastly, I have shifted from thinking and working as a regional leader, to a global one, managing and influencing those in other regions and outside my direct span of control. As my confidence grew and my overwhelm reduced, I expressed myself a lot more freely with peers and seniors — leading to deeper contributions.
Along the way, Amit also helped me with many tactical day-to-day challenges. In some cases, he acted as a sounding board when I was preparing for crucial discussions, and in other cases, he shared tips to better engage my team.
